Game Day FAQ

 

When and where is the event?

SPF Educators v. the Harlem Wizards will take place on 3/6/2024 in the New Gym at the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. Doors open at 6 PM, and the festivities begin at 7 PM.

Where do I enter SPFHS?

Enter through Door 12, starting at 6 PM. Door 12 is located on the northside of the building (on the left side if you are facing the front of the high school). To get there, drive through the parking lot towards the back of the school / football stadium.

I purchased premium tickets (Courtside Player, Courtside Plus, or Reserved) or pre-ordered a jersey. How do I receive my  swag?

When you check in at Door 12, you will be given the items associated with your ticket.

I purchased Courtside Player or Courtside Plus tickets. When and where is the Meet & Greet with the Wizards?

The Meet & Greet will occur at approximately 6:10 PM in the SPFHS cafeteria. You will be directed to the cafeteria when you check in. 

​

Where will I be seated?

Seating is based on the type of ticket(s) you purchased and is first come-first served in each section. Please find a seat in your designated section upon arrival.

• Courtside Player -  You will be seated in a chair on the Wizards bench.

• Courtside Plus -  You will be seated in the first row of the lower level of bleacher seats.

• Reserved - You will be seated in rows 2 - 7 of the lower level of bleacher seats. Please do not sit in the first row.

• General Admission - You will be seated in upper bleacher section. Please do not stand on the aisle as that blocks the view of the people behind you.

Will concessions be available?

Yes! Nick's Pizza, snacks, candy, and water will be available for sales starting at 6 pm in the "old gym".  100% of profits support the EEF.  Please bring cash to make concession sales seamless.

Will Wizards merchandise be available to purchase?

Yes.  Wizards merch will be available for sale throughout the game (e.g., jerseys, basketballs, posters, and more).  20%-25% of proceeds go to the EEF.

Will there be other ways to support the EEF at the event?​

• Consider going behind the scenes and joining the EEF Board of Trustees! Please speak to one of the EEF Board members working at the event to learn more. We will be the ones in the blue SPF EEF shirts!

• Make a donation to the EEF.  Donations apply directly towards the EEF's Educator Grants program.

Can I get player autographs?

Yes.  Stick around at the end of the event to grab a picture and an autograph with the Wizards.

​

What happens if I am running late?

We know you are all busy with other events - don't worry if you are running late - we will be sure to get you to your seat, and if you have premium seats, we will get you the merch that comes with your ticket. Please report to Door 12 when you arrive.
